Please folks, do not ask me for his phone number or address. I am respecting Gordie's wishes not to deal with BYC members at this point. I can only answer any emails if you want info on his breeds, questions of my birds I got from him and what my experience with dealing with this wonderful man...
I agree with you Asher, people do need to get a life and we all know the risks of shipped chicks and I am certain Gordie would not jeopardize his chicken hobby like that nor need bad reputation. I have known Gordie for the last five years, bought many of his pullets and hatching eggs and all of...
Sorry folks, I edited his sales list and took out his name and email....I must honor his requests. No hard feelings folks but its best to put this to rest now.
Thanks for your business folks, wished for better news!
Lets see what he has to say and what he can do for you.
Is there a way you can get those chicks autopsied? That might help alot and settle the issues between the breeder and owner.
Hope he does have an answer!
Good going, Yogi!
I've never had a bad bird from Gordie tho!
Just keep working on those remaining chicks and if folks dont have problems on their end, well, I dont know what to say.
I am not one hundred percent certain if Gordie will be hatching thru the summer months but he probably taking...
Nope, not kidding at all!
I had some chicks brought in from Sandhill Preservation and the box looked like it was shaken up or banged up a bit since there were dents and folded back top covers. I was missing three chicks and Sandhill said sorry, not responsible if the PO did that and they did...
Oh gosh! Thats not normal! I know Gordie is good about sending out chicks and I did have some week olds with some day olds chicks and they all came thru great. He puts in apple pieces in the box when I took the chicks out. All of them were alive and well and had two died on me under my own...

Thanks Jody, I was the one that posted about his birds and hatching eggs for sale. It was one of his email flyers I got from him and I figured with the quality of birds and very healthy started birds I've gotten from him, I can help him out. Little did I know it created a monster and he thanked...
As for shipping for chicks, it was reasonable..around 25 to 35 dollars for both chick and adult sizes plus box. All shipped to Illinois. Anybody further, it will cost more.
Good luck folks and be patient LOL! I am glad that Gordie is busy as he could ever be.
Bummer!!!!
I didnt have a good luck hatch either on my end on Blue Orps from KingsCall either.....drat weather and wet basement too! Makes me wonder if the darn weather got something to do with it!
As for Gordies hatching eggs, I had good hatchings from him. Its a roll of a dice when it comes...
He did list some started chicks on Eggbid about a week ago or so. Go on Eggbid listings and look under the completed listings and he should have some there.
Once in a while he will sell some surplus chicks and older pullets and cockerals on Eggbid in the fall. Keep checking on it.
Good luck!
Looks like you got some Frizzle Cochins assorted colors as he did mention on his sales list. Isnt that what you ordered or got? It is of mixed colors when you get assorted colors and if you wanted Red Frizzle Cochins, then you gotta tell him that you want Red Frizzle Cochins. He got two other...
