It needs a special starter feed for turkeys. It is very important for their growth.

It was recommended to get a few farther back in this thread, but it would probably be easier to convince your mother to just get one more. to answer your question though, it only needs one more to be happy.

I'm not positive, but I would doubt it. - Since your poults need a different feed than your chicks, I would make a separate brooder for your poults. There is also the possibility that your poults could harm your chicks when they get a bit older because *I think* poults grow faster than chicks...

Please try to either re-home this poult, or get more poults. Turkeys are social animals and will stress out a ton if they don't have another of their kind to talk to. You won't be able to leave the house or even the sight of the turkey because it has imprinted on you, and that will cause you...
