    Pecked raw - help!

I found a new home for my rooster even if I have regrets, the hens do seem less cranky. I put up some toys and a new dust bath to keep them busy. The slightly injured hen I kept with the flock and she seems to have adjusted to having a saddle on. Her wound is healing and once her feathers grow...

    Pecked raw - help!

I am giving her electrolyte in her water but should i only do that a couple of times of daily until she is better? I also read they need more protein if they need to regrow lots of feathers. Should i perhaps supplement with high protein treats?

    Pecked raw - help!

I will try and get a picture tomorrow. I decided to put a heat lamp aiming at part of the coop i have her in and she is resting next to it. Crossing fingers. The attached picture is the coop she is in in the garage so she is warmer. I exclusively use this if I need to isolate any hens.
