I just came in from mowing, and I agree...very zen. I have a push mower for the house and a garden tractor for the rural property. I find both satisfying. Now off to pull weeds for the chickens from the areas that they're not allowed!

Oh yes it did! Luckily they were still behind a chain link fence, but the hawks have wiped out all the bunnies and all but one squirrel in the area--so after they eagerly followed me back into the kennel for feed, a quick headcount meant my heart could restart again.

Or the high winds blew their gate open and released the dogs. It happened to me last week with the chickens...they had a nice day free ranging without supervision. :th

:frow Hello! Finished reading the thread and high-five to you for surviving the ordeal! Am properly jealous of your new barn too. Now that you're taking down the other coops, do you wish you had used screws or would that have just a big a pain as the nails?
