I'm so you lost another one. Sometimes if the coccidiosis goes untreated too long, which can be as little as a few days, it does irreversible damage to the intestines. I hope the rest continue to thrive for you.

Can you give this one another drop of Corid and try to encourage her to drink water?

You may have waited too long to start the treatment. :( Do you still have the heat lamp on?

If it were me I would clean it everyday. I'm not a fan of poop in general so I keep my brooders cleaned multiple times a day.

Once you treat them once...for a full treatment...they should be good to go. Unless they are ever introduced to a new to them strain of coccidia. There are 7 or so strains. The three that you're giving to your friend...she may have a different strain on her land so she may need to treat them...

I'm not sure. One sip isn't going to help. I guess we just cross our fingers and hope they all drink it. I mean you can separate the sick ones out and watch them to make sure they're drinking.

Ok...what I was going to suggest is making a gallon of treated Corid water and using some of this water to mix in with their feed to make it into a mash. It would not work with a feeder like this though. What you also can do is pick their water up late tonight. Mix a fresh batch of Corid...

Another thing you can do is measure their feed. Can you guesstimate how much feed they are eating each day? LOL It's ok...I was able to decipher it.;)

I think a q tip would be better. Don't stress about giving this drench dose. Just make sure you put enough in their water and make sure they are all drinking. What size waterer do you have?

Do you happen to have a small syringe laying around somewhere?

Give each chick a drop of undiluted Corid stray to the beak now in addition to adding it to thier water. And if you have to keep the heat lamp on move the water far away from it.

I hate to give you a hard time about the heat lamp but I can tell you that coccidia breed very well in damp warm places. Remind me Do you have the liquid or powder Corid on hand?

Yes. Treat everyone on the property. if they don't have it the treatment will not hurt them It's better to treat just in case.

I am in Texas. I can tell you there is no way in the world I would have a heat lamp on any chick over a couple days old here right now. I can not stress enough that I think you are over heating your birds.

It looks like they are all as far away as possible from the heat lamp. I'd take it out immediately.

Can you go take some pictures of the coop you have these chicks in now?

And yes...if the wet spot in your coop has mold, that can kill quickly too.

Cocci is different than coccidiosis. I would treat the remaining birds for coccidiosis with Corid if I were you. I know zero about the vaccine for coccidiosis but I wouldn't trust it.
