Steve, Did you get the wire guards from the company? I am going to set about 40+ eggs this weekend in my two new incuview...after I install the old fan guards or these wire guards that I know nothing about! They sent me two of them when they sent me two original fan guards this week. Hope...

What about taking a square of plastic hardware cloth and putting it on the inside or outside of the fan guard?

I'm wondering if using a circle of the aluminum water heater wrap (like bubble wrap) under the incubator would be helpful in more even temp in center of incubator. Also using a towel under bator. Does anyone use heat reflective material like this around incubators? Leela

Steve, have there been a lot of others with the same experience in multi day hatch window? My new units arrive soon...if this is an issue for all I may return them and get a Brinsea. Do you have any other recommendations for a good incubator under $200? Thanks!
