She’s being mean and pushy. Boy they can sure get on a nerve can’t they? lol. My one Muscovy who is living in another coop with another Female has gone broody. She and Ruth get along thank goodness because I’m out of rooms to move one out. No eggs under her either.

You can try to break her, Boy are they stubborn. Last I tried I took my girl out closed the door so she couldn't get back in she spent most of the day hanging on the hardware cloth on the door. After a few days I just said what the heck I went in changed out bedding adding new and let her...

    Is this duck okay?

Believe me Karen won't mind being in the coop by herself while broody. I just had to put 3 of my Muscovy girls into another coop for night because the 4th is picking on them. She has become the favorite of the drake and wants to flunt it.

I don't like to separate them either but to my surprise it did help. I've only had to do it 2X and not in the same year.d not in the same year. My Muscovy do this and they take turns. I’ve had to put a few In time out over night if they won’t stop when everyone goes inside. That usually brings her back right. I love them♥️ And she is healing very nicely too. I have 4 female Muscovy and 1 drake. My girls can be temperamental, sometimes they will pick on each other and I have even had to give one time out when she wouldn’t stop after they had gone into their coop for the night. They are what I call...

Sounds to me like she is really coming around now under your care. Do you have Veterycin it’s a spray for wounds an infections. You might try that instead of rubbing something on it. She. Might not mind it as much. Is she using the preen gland for preening?
