    Cute chicks. The bbs orp could be black but don;t give up hope. Once it feathers in take it outside in the sun. Dull black means dark blue. There is nothing prettier than a orpington chick.

    The orps will most likely pip late. They are lazy.

    The temp changes because the chicks are fully formed and are producing their own heat - same as your body does. Just keep an eye on it.

    Do not give up on dark or clear eggs. I never call it quits on the eggs until day 14 when I know for sure I should be seeing something in an egg.
