It did have a traumatic hatch so it is probably worn out. I would put some nutri drench or suger in water and leave it to rest a while, then maybe give it a little clean. Is it eating and drinking?
If it was me, I would try and keep the inner membrane moist, drops of warm water or coconut oil, then back into the incubator to finish absorbing the yolk etc. I think absorbing the yolk and the whole process really tires them out, please try not to panic. :love
It is hard to tell from the pictures. It doesn’t look shrink wrapped and the beak is out so it is breathing, if it was me, I would put it back into the incubator and let nature take its course. If you see anything that causes you concern, then you can think about assisting a bit more.
Noooo, just peel some of the shell away and use tiny drops of the warm water to moisten the inner membrane if the chick is stuck. Try to get the chick to a point where it can hatch itself.
I would get a pair of tweezers, some lukewarm water, then assist. Moisten the inner membrane as you go, just be really careful as you remove the shell and try to stay away from the veins. You could even assist a little bit, and hopefully the chick can do the rest?
@Silkie Princess maybe this could help you.
I watched this when I had to assist, sorry I couldn’t send you the link, I haven’t worked out how to do that yet. Good luck
