I don't have the LF RIR just the bantam one I have. But I don't dought that some lines of RIR will be more aggressive due to not selecting for personality.

Agree with this! I have RIR bantam that defiantly loves people more than the other chickens. I have some rosecombs in a group I didn't so much hands on with and they love me alot. I've so far found that rosecombs seam to be this way. I think the RIR seam to come this way as well. My Sebrights...

First! Phoenix, and I think he's bantam and was a mix up from Cackle. He's almost a year old and is half the size of King who is LF Phoenix. No name yet for him.

I do too. He's very personable. He likes me to hold him or just be stroked on the back and comes up to me for these things.
