Update!!! Our chicken with the prolapse gave her first egg after healing! She is doing great! Her eggs are usually a little pinkish, her first egg after prolapse is a little pale, but its hers.

I will keep her inside for now. It's still very cold here. It's about -2/+5C during the day. What if she prolapses again after first egg? How long will I wait for the first egg? Few weeks? I understand shes healing and I dont want to rush her.

Tried to draw what I mean... Not sure if it makes sense. From what I think it's like the cloaca came out with part of vagina and the red part is the hole for small intestine. Because where its black it also has a hole like thats rhe part that comes out and opens to let out the egg.

Update. This is how it looks. First picture is how it looks when I check on her, there is dark areas, not sure of that's how her bits looked before since she has dark skin or its dying tissue. Other parts inside are red. Butt he white parts are not coming off after wash. So I just lather her up...

I have pushed it in a few times and held it in place for over 10min. Each. For some reason she just keeps pushing it out. It's so discouraging:(((((
