Cheryl and Jeremy, you should start a new thread about getting a meetup going in the Bay Area. Don't forget to put a link to the thread in your sig line so you advertise it whenever you post!
I don't think we can have an actual swap in the bay area. We never could find a location that allowed chickens. Any bay area meetup would probably have to be just a chat and BBQ. I'm reluctant to be the organizer, since I already was involved in the June event. I vote for Jeremy!!
just got home myself. I got lost in the dairy goats, and never found the landscaping exhibits. I needed a map!
It was great to meet some more chicken nuts! Here are a few pics, and as promised, nothing but the wild shirt will be shown of mediazeal!
hi mediazeal! oh bummer, I won't be able to make it at noon now. I chatted on the phone too long. Send me your phone number by pm! I'll call you as soon as I get there. Okay, I'll hurry now. I have an hour and a half drive, and still need to change the oil on my truck. YIKES!
I'm going...
well it sounds like we aren't actually meeting up at 12 noon now. I'm still going to go, even though I'll be by myself. Just got off the phone with HHandbasket. Nice lady!! She might still go, too!
If anyone goes, be sure to track me down! Just walk up to anyone who looks like my avatar...
good that you could cancel the tickets.
yes, I've heard good things about Rachel's birds, and met one personally when she came to visit one day (the bird visited, not Rachel.)
I think you need your own Fall Chickenstock.
Yikes! you have a lot of birds these days. Good thing you called it the Omelet Ranch, because you wouldn't want to have to turn that many Over Easy.
good to know the hatching went well!
I had some difficulties getting an appointment (my fault, not Rachel's). I'm really wanting to get her...
I was about to go to TruNorth Farms and get two Barnevelders to keep my lone Ameraucana pullet company. (I have two roos I will be rehoming.)
never be embarrassed by the number of chicks you have. We are happy to enable you.
