I have 2 styrofoam incubators one with fan and turner one without.
I have 2 old Galvanized 100 egg Brower incubators, only one holds temp correctly......so I use it as a hatcher, when I have filled the 2 styrofoams to capacity~!
as for stopping, I have decided that until I I can see how many...
so far 3 have popped the tops, there are:
2 Black - Light Brahma x Barred Rocks
1 yellow- Pure Lght Brahma
5 Pips going,
4 more to go......

ETA: 5 hatched, 1 with the top off, 2 zipping away, 3 cant see anything yet, but they have plenty of time.

lost the little one with the imbilical problem today...... I tried a betadine wash and sugar but it would not close.....
I have no idea how to make them close....Or if there was anything more wrong with it....
on a happier note ...
we have our first pip for the 28th hatch.....

Lockdown started this morning for another batch of 13 eggs......
ok Brooder set up, first 4 chicks moved into it....
we have 3 more chicks and 3 pips......
4 more eggs to go in this batch.......
Humidity was 80% and Temp was 100.8 after removal of the 4 chicks.....so I think we are doing well considering....this is the first time I have used the Brower as...

The 4 chicks have knocked the Humidity gauge upside down so...
this morning we have 2 chicks, and 2 pips.......
I was showing you why I have trouble seeing much in there, it is a very small window.....and a very large incubator. It covers the whole top of my Heavy duty Dryer!

I candled the 14 eggs due for lockdown tonight.....so far they all seem to be developing right on schedule......They will move to the Brower (hatcher) later this evening, as I have not gotten the Humidity to stabilize yet, finally got the temp close.....

Pip #3 is not making any progress, but the other two are doing great, and now completely out of the shell......Hurray! there are 7 more eggs, of which 2 I was not sure about, but figured they wouldn't hurt anything by being in there.....but the others are making me wait.....like a ketchup...
