Good plan :)
*face palm*
You were just talking about reading the first book, weren't you.
For some reason, I read it as the whole series. (Right? This is a series?) And then was thinking of the very complicated ways that everyone was going to read the entire series together....
I need coffee.
That sounds cool!
My one problem... I won't be waiting a week to read the next chapter XD XD
Also, how would we coordinate when people get books from the library?
Sounds like the author did a good job then
*sympathetic shoulder pat*
Have you ever read the Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer? It's fairy tales retold in a futuristic setting and it's AMAZING.
20,000 leagues under the sea is by Jules Verne, and he's written a lot of classics. Journey to the Center of the Earth is one of his well-known ones.
Oooh! Other classics: The Count of Monte Cristo.
Murder, romance, revenge all wrapped up into one book. It's amazing.
I hate it when authors add characters in just to kill them off.
As an author myself, I always ask: Is this character dying for a reason? And what is that reason?
If the answer is: Just because I want to cause my readers emotional pain *insert evil laugh*.
Then I need to rethink what the...
I need to stop.
I already have so many books I need to read:
Emily Starr Series.
20,000 Leagues under the sea.
Left Behind.
I'm sure there are more on my shelf. I'm never gonna get through my pile XD
Except don't actually throw books. Because books are precious
*strokes hoard of books*
Haven't read it, I heard that it was pretty gory.
Maybe I'll read it one day.
I'll see if the library has it ;)
Two kinds of readers:
1. Read this book. It's good.
2. YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK IMMEDIATELY IT WILL CAUSE YOU EMOTIONAL PAIN AND YOU WILL NEVER BE THE SAME. YOU WILL FALL IN LOVE WITH THE CHARACTERS AND I WOULD TELL YOU ALL ABOUT IT BUT SPOILERS SO JUST HERE...
I'll have to look for those...
I'm not usually into murder mysteries, but Murder on the Orient Express had me turning pages like crazy. So did Sherlock Holmes.
Well, in comparison with the book, absolutely.
They left out Aunt Beast, made the Friendly Medium MALE(?) and somewhat creepy. The antagonist (the name evades me at the moment) was messed up. The three Mrs's were also messed up....
There was more.
The moviemakers took lots of "creative...
I've read A Wrinkle in Time.
Same.
DO NOT WATCH THE MOVIE.
(The books are always better than the movie, except for a few cases, How to Train Your Dragon being one of them.)
Name: SBFChickenGirl (Though you can call me SBF for short)
Favorite book(s): I don't have a favorite, but I loved Harry...
