Ended up with 8 babes. I'll be setting more soon. Should end up with more pure phoenixes and mixes.

That sucks about your rooster, could he have an ear infection? That can throw off balance.

Projects are so fun! I am going to have to postpone my project though. The hubs has decided he doesn't want to have roosters again. I wish there were chicken ranches were I could board a pen of birds and not have to worry about stupid city ordinances.

I too am looking forward to anything above freezing. Though I'm grateful for all the snow. My chickies are all being freeloaders right now from the lack of light and the cold. silly butts. I can't wait for spring.

I never thought I'd be wishing for snow. I can't wait for warmer weather.
