    About 2-3 weeks. When I turn the heat light off they huddle up and don't move as if they're cold. The heat light has a dimmer switch ,so, I try to adjust the heat to where they look comfy and not too hot or too cold.

    Yes, large pine shavings but they're like bigger than an inch or two. So, they're large enough to not eat. They've always got clean water and food. The brooder is open on one end and the other end has the light. Plenty of space. What else can I be doing? I've lost hundreds in the last few months...

    Yes they get clean freshwater more than once a day yes I use a heat lamp but they have plenty of room to run around to get away from it I will try and post a picture of the brooder.
