    More confusing for me when I found it crying, alone, on the ground! Lol I gave it to another hen who also has a newly hatched chick, but later I found it with its rightful momma - the one on the right of the pic, the chicks back is up against.

    First Call duckling hatch of the year for me. These babies never cease to bring a huge smile to my face. :) :D

    Yes they are. Pigeons in general are fascinating, with some neat differences from chickens and ducks, etc. Like the males help sit on the eggs and help feed the babies. And they usually form monogamous pairs. Much more interesting than their normal nasty stereotype. And there are tons of varieties!
