Cute! What's wrong with the black chicken's (Mary?) eye? Is that just her blinking or something?

Do you mean the size of her eye? Or are you seeing something else?

She has huge dark eyes. As far as I know, that's what most Australian Australorps look like.

Yes they are. Pigeons in general are fascinating, with some neat differences from chickens and ducks, etc. Like the males help sit on the eggs and help feed the babies. And they usually form monogamous pairs. Much more interesting than their normal nasty stereotype. And there are tons of varieties!
