Hello! and welcome to the OEGB thread.

I am sure you can find them. Don't know about the american's. Most are of the standard variety. Pardon my mistake, thought you were talking about OE bantams.

Are you sure that your duckwing is a bantam?

Hello! and welcome to the OEGB thread.

No, they are not pea combed. OE's are "dubbed". In the natural state, they are a single comb. Males are dubbed, females are not. Yes, there are hatcheries that carry them, but they are just that hatchery birds. There are lots of OE breeders out there that would be more than happy to assist you.

Hello! and welcome to the OEGB thread.

Its all a learning process. It takes a lot of time to study the birds, and it hard to turn your head and cull. I wish they were a male line, but, oh well its what I got, and maybe my hens will show well someday.

Hello! and welcome to the OEGB thread.

I will try to get pictures up in the morning of my pullets. This years hatch are all crosses with the bb/red cock with blue red hens, or blue/red cock on bbred hens. Yes I do have some color differences with my pullets. Not sure just what to keep. Most of my chicks are sold to kids, so I...

Hello! and welcome to the OEGB thread.

Guess I should take some pictures of my birds and post them. I have had OE's for around 5 or 6 years, simply because I have always enjoyed them. Now, with duties of poultry leader I am finding that I want to work and show my birds. Its like the kids want me to. So, I am gearing up to make...
