    The EE braggers thread!!!

Thought I did but can't find them. Their stock is the typical EE that you get from about any hatchery. I was told that they use only pure Ameraucana roosters over their EE hens. Most of my stock that I just sold off were descended from Cackle stock with a little others thrown into the mix.

He definately looks like an EE. As far as breeds bred him with non blue egg gene hens it will be a Big toss up on whether or not the offspring will lay green/blue eggs. Will make pretty babies though. My choice would be Easter Eggers, Amereaucsba, or Araucsna hens. At least some thing...

This hen represents three threads. Easter Egger= 1/4 EE blood and lays a green egg. Naked Neck= see the naked neck? 3/4 NN blood mom is half EE & half NN but looks like EE. Green Egger Naked Neck=. Naked.Necked and lays a green egg. See this link...

Them being a lighter type bird, yes they are pretty good fliers. I had netting over my runs but the ice and snow from the winter weighted it down until it had all fell in. I caught mine and clipped the wings so they don't fly too well.

Yes it is. @ the egg size. She is currently laying about ever other day. So far she's the only one from that group of seven laying. I almost have the one laying picked, there are two almost identical, but enough difference in them if I can catch her on the nest again I'll know for sure.

That much white on the breast is very much a cockerel color. If it turns out to be a pullet I'd be very surprised.

    The EE braggers thread!!!

Look what I pulled from the incubator this morning These two were the only ones left. I set 11 EE eggs. There was one more that looked like these and the other 6 that hatched were either black or blue, some of both colors. Only two eggs haven't hatched, waiting until tomorrow until I throw...

From my understanding Cackle uses pure Ameraucana roosters over their EE hens.

    The EE braggers thread!!!

I don't think getting a single comb on a mix bred chick indicates a single gene copy of the pea comb. There is always a chance if getting a single comb when breeding single comb and pea comb together. Yes, I was asking if you if you had ordered the Zbarred Rock with the rest. Not because if...

    The EE braggers thread!!!

First a question: Did you order Barred Rocks? Straight (single )comb on Easter Egger: most likely it will not lay blue/green eggs, but there could be a slim chance of laying colored eggs. I wouldn't hold my breath for it though. If you're asking about the olive Egger laying colored eggs...

No but I'll try to get one this weekend as I'll start moving the hens around getting ready for an Easter hatch. Don't want to disturb them too much.

    The EE braggers thread!!!

There used to be a page on the Ameraucana Breeders website that told the story of them. Well basically it told the story anyway it tells the way to tell the difference between the EE, Ameraucana, and Araucana.

Here are my four that I kept from my New Years Day Hatch-A-Long: 3 weeks and 4 days old. Blue may turn blue wheaten. His father is a Blue Wheaten Ameraucana. There were three hen that were if the blue coloring in the pen so any could have been the mother. I believe this one is a cockerel...

I thought you were talking about birds. If you're talking F2 eggs, then I'm sorry don't know nothin' 'bout Fwhatever eggs. I was thinking you were saying that , that would be an F2 chick.
