That brown speckled egg is spectacular.  WHAT BREED IS THAT?

The speckled eggs are really pretty... I have a barred rock who sometimes lays them.

I will start collecting mine on the about the 3rd of March. I'm setting them for the Easter Hatch-A-Long.

Going to try to get sever this time around. Just noticed that my EE are about their lowest in the last 2 years.

I have to wait until after I get home from a friend's wedding in mid March to start collecting eggs to incubate. I have my chosen EEs separated in their own coop already. Waiting is hard!!

I have a couple Easter Eggers that lay green eggs with speckles. I have one praticular hen that lays a olive green egg with lavender speckles on it.
