my ducks have a whole instagram page where i post daily lol, beyond spoiled 😂

mine started wearing sock diapers and mini bandanas when they were less than a week old, so now they will happily let me put outfits and diapers on them (they even get excited to see their harnesses because they know it means walk time!)

probably will be a mix, and i’m guessing they’ll be around khaki sized

my khakis and rouen definitely love to forage and are light enough not to trample everything, we don’t have a garden but my pekin boys would definitely ruin it lol

6 weeks isn’t old at all, i know lots of duck rescues who socialize ducks who are full grown and have been dumped so they are terrified of humans at first

just spend time around them and talking to them! feed them treats out of your hand and just show them they are safe with you

i spend a lot of time with them! they love to go on adventures and have been socialized with so many people so they are fine with anybody holding/cuddling them, they love to go to the park and have even been to stores and to a school! they get daily cuddles and attention!

they’ll be fine, just seperate the pekin drake in spring when not supervised (that’s what i do) because a pekin could kill a khaki hen because of size difference. in fall/winter they are fine to be together as long as they have a big space

i would love more ducks but mine are imprinted and want more attention than most ducks, so i’ll be waiting a long time before i get anymore lol
