Ok girls, this is the last call for the mug rug swap, anyone else want to play? Completion date mid June, if you want in then pm me. Kassaundra what about Cathysue?
Lacy Blues, that's great news!
Where's Kassaundra? Has she fallen off the planet? She's been very quite and hasn't signed up for the mug rug yet.
Very cold in the Lakes, yesterday we had snow, still having a great time though !
Aren't quilters wonderful! I have had a gift from someone today just because I'm a quilter. I must admit I'm still in a state of shock really. A lady posted on a yahoo chat room that she didn't want her long arm quilter anymore. I asked how much it was ( changing my car so no spare money

We could do any block, 12" finished size, in " tradional " Christmas colours ie red, green, gold, creams. No blues, pinks or purples.
A mug rug swap would be nice too but how about we have a circle instead of a straight swap. We are just told who to send to but we don't know where ours is coming...

I'm good with this but was going to suggest a long term project so that we all stayed together. I had thought of tradional Christmas blocks due oct 31st , that way we should get them for Christmas and it gives us over 6 months to make them. I think if we don't have a " journey" to travel...
Ours should be on their way in a day or two. Mary and I pooled our fabric, she cut it and I'm sewing. I've got about half way so one more push and we will be done. Spring is beginning to peep through here and we have had quite a few sunny days.
Mary has spent her day cutting 5 inch squares for the swap! We've pooled fabrics from our stashs , I've been ironin and counting and she's done the cutting with her huge ruler! It was our groups meeting today, The Sitting Ducks.
