All well here - just hatching chicks and catching up from a winter that didn't allow any chores / projects to get done.
You learning how to make pottery jugs to put the wine in ?
Oh yes I remember those days .
At 14 in high school I worked on a farm for $0.33 hour summers and weekends . Plus in summer days off I cut grass for folks. Shoveled snow in winter . No car at fourteen.
Rode bike or walked 8 miles to work. Dad helped build a two wheel cart out of salvaged stuff...
Rancher I buy your theory but seekers must be qualified to obtain jobs and Government does not create jobs . Basically the Governments job is to spend our money.
Business investors actually create jobs . Most Government restricts job growth except government jobs.

My take is that a lot of it is taught in GOVERNMENT schools- And when they get to college they can go in conservative and in a year they are more worried politically about whether a womans going to get free birth controlls than doubling the national debt in 4 years . Its a uphill battle...
Yep been there and done that - each one is different but at a certain point you got to cast off the lines and let them tread some water to find they didn't have it so bad after all and that staying afloat is going require some effort on their part.
My wife and I decided we are not going down...
Good wishing ! But I don't know where that place is .
On the bright side egg production is up. Getting 6>9 a day from 14 Hens/pullets. Not sure if its the light comes on at 4AM or molts over.
Too cold for my old joints LOL - Been there and done that when younger Dad [USAF] was stationed in Alberta Canada , Rome NY , Langley Mass and Fargo ND.
You can have it . It snows here in VA but its usually gone in 2 days in this part.
Well glad you there and I'm here where its only 33 and freezing rain .
The hens have been out all morning since light but the two Cockerels
didn't arise till noon. Typical teens LOL
Well agree - If it gets into teens here I have a heat lamp set with green house thermostat that comes at 40 degrees. Currently we have light bulb timed to come on at 4 AM . egg production is back up.
I don't know but I ferment feed with the ACV w mother so they don't need it in water especially in winter. They get plenty in the soaked grain. Good thought though.
You would be a great friend . Let me know when you have your free shipping specials. LOL
Just kidding - Just put 13 in the freezer . Well actually today they been aging on ice in the cooler.
