    Okay, I checked out the link and I went in the back yard put Sharkie on my lap parted her feathers at the base for her neck ( between her wings) and worked my way down to the base of her tail, and I took these pictures. I didnt see pin type feathers I did see rounded Webby type, but let me know...

    I appreciate your imput though, so thank you for that, I havent given up yet. No crowing yet... no eggs either , I have had no saddle feathers, and I do check closely daily, all the feathers at the base of the tail are rounded, an bouncy like my other hens tails. Sharkie's tail is not growing...

    As far as photos, try to give them a treat they can eat from your one hand while you snap a few closeups with the other, or put feed right in front of you and wait for them to look up:-) That's what I do anyway. In regard to gender, that chicks comb looks really red for 8 weeks. I can't see...

    Thanks I hope you are right for the pullet vote... And maybe their huge size has to do with allllllll the treats my little ones get;-) eggs, meal worms lots of apples pears, melon, berries. I don't know are the big?? I have no other reference ....what do you guys think....
