I thought my girls were spoiled lol they dont get to watch tv... unless it's off my phone. Which is a fantastic why to get the screen cracked btw. I try to make sure they dont make it inside just because they always give you that look and poop on the rug then run like their butts on fire.
Theses boys are looking for a new home. There is actually a third I dont seem to have a photo of. We are located in central Illinois.
this is shawn. He was hatched in the spring. He is either a rir or a rir bo mix. Hes a good boy but is a little squirrelly.
This is guster. He was also...
Yeah I don't think the neighborhood kids need to see all that. I remember once when I was I kid I went in the barn looking for our cat and my dad was skinning our rabbits. I of course thought my dad was just awful... but the "chicken" we had for dinner was good lol
could be. He maybe alerting the flock to something... probably that he is getting some lol I personally don't free range due to too many threats to my birds, but my friend has free range flocks and his roosters crow from sun up to sun down. I think the more room they have the more they crow...
Our adult rooster did that when we first got him for about a week then he chilled out. I almost never hear him crow except off and on for about an hour after sun rise. Does he have thing to occupy his time? Things to climb on and dig at and whatnot? Rooster get bord very easily.
Between the heat and the rain... I've been freezing grapes for the chickens. Leaving the coop open later to to try and keep it cool. Poor poor chickens.
