well i am ending up with more than i thought i would have.. that is a good thing. i had to take some out of the bator so there was more room for hatching ones. I did not get a chance to take pics as i was getting ready for church. Had another 5 hatch while i was at church. I do have a live...

I will be posting pics tommorrow. I have 11 in the bator running around but i want to give the rest some time to hatch before i open it. This morning is when the first one hatched so i figure sunday after church they should be dry and will put them in with the rest in the brooder.

number 3 is half way out... edited to add this 1 min later all the way out and strong and healthy

update there is 2 hatched and more that have a single peck in them once i take them out i will take a pic of them. the ones that hatched already are doing great and running around

Help---- i woke up and 1 running around and curping away... I think he is going to be a bull in a china shop. He is walking around bumping and rolling eggs around... what to do??? He is just about dry..

just looked in the bator and just saw 1 egg that has a pip.... mine are due tommorrow also edited for spelling

still no pipes on mine due tommorrow so i hope to see some movement today

Mine are due saturday. No moving or anything yet. The chicks i ordered made it here today. 2 days early but they arived safe. Will keep you up to date.

Wednesday is 18th day. I can't wait... I do have a question. I put the eggs in at 5pm on a Saturday. And i was told to have day 1 start on sunday. The question is Should I lock down on the 18th day or on the 17th after 5pm? I can't wait to candle again to see more growth. I just hope i don;t...

Day 15 A couple more days till i will candle again and go for lockdown. Area is almost set up. Will post pics when i get set up.

right nwo they are still in the bator. I will open a couple tommorrow morning and toss them as it is garbage day.

ok i got to wondering and candled them. bought 42 receviced 47 broken 6 left 41 to hatch of the 41--- 14 are going strong 12 are questionable --------- culled 6 not fertial 9 blood ring ------------- will candle on day 17 so it is before lockdown.

today is day 9 for me. Going to wait till tommorrow to do a candle and cull the ones with blood rings. Will post the results tommorrow. I am hoping for the best but with the rough packing not sure how it will end up.

Day 7 -- everything looks ok. I have tried to candle some but looks like alot will not make it due to the rough handling of post office and the very BAD packing the seller did. On a good note today i will be working on my brooder. I will post pics of it prob tommorrow when i have it done.
