She is soo funny! I took her to go swimming and I couldn't catch her friend so they were both quacking like crazy then she takes off running, using her wings to help her.

They are getting SOO big. She is a cripple, it never healed right. The bone healed funny so she doesn't walk right but she is fine when she is swimming!

@Miss Lydia I'm thinking just more water time. I'm also going to use a bin, the sink is getting to be to small, even the bathtub might be to short.

Update: had to tape her legs again. The one is growing wrong and she is using it less, it seems like its getting less blood flow too! =/ I don't know that she will ever walk normal. She doesn't try to stand up or get out of the sling either, she is pretty content there, especially when her buddy...

I resign, the swelling is gone... but she still limps awfully... she is getting around much faster though! I'll still do vitamins, the sling, and bath times, and oregano if she starts swelling again but I can't think of anything else that could help that will work, especially since its been so long.

No, it is broken at the ankle. Can't really do much to fix that as far as cast wise.

Unfortunately, it seems to be broken but if it is then your supposed to treat it right away so by now there isn't much to do... and seperating her just stresses her out.

@Lacrystol it won't help. It seems to change daily! It is definately an injury. I put it with the other duck and the chicks in the tractor, she had enough room to get away from them and hopefully not be picked on, but my husband seperated her alone the other day and she really reinjured herself...

Splinting isn't an option where it seems to be broke, and the only local vet is out of town til tuesday... not to mention my husband would rather put it down than pay $100 or more for a vet bill for a duckling.

She had a bath this morning, I can't really limit her activity since she is in a shared brooder and I can't seperate her. I think she was just tired cause she seems a little better than this morning already. We have another bath time and epson compress tonight!

I was going to update and say she is doing much better but it seems like 2 steps forward one step back. Last night she was walking much better but this morning she is limping again. I'm guessing she re injured it either taking the tape off (she was still walking "crooked") or one of the others...
