Take away the food until tonight. That way you can make SURE she eats. I never allow my dogs to eat throughout the day. They have two settings for meals. One in the morning, one in the evening when I get home from work.
We cannot help you in a diagnosis. We cannot see her or see what's going on with her. The vet is the one that will have to make the call.
On the other hand, if she's doing this, you may need to go ASAP for your own sanity!
Can you call your vet and explain the situation. Or call animal control?
Something even as small as a scrape or scratch is all that needs to happen to transmit rabies to another animal or person.
Did the dog break the skin on your dad? You NEED to take the dog to the vet. If it is rabies, there is nothing you can do. She will have to be put down. Your dad needs the diagnosis of rabies to know if he needs to get the shots that will save his life.
