I would say Shepard/chocolate lab. I could see Doberman diluted maybe, but barely. You can buy a wisdom panel on amazon if your curiosity is worth 60$ ;)
Ain't that the truth!!! My chihuahua was saved last minute from getting put down for biting. That was 10 or so years ago. He will growl and warn you if your a stranger trying to pick him up and if you insist and pick him up he will bite. Never bitten me or any of my family though so
Awwwe :) I've got four of my own dogs, and keep a few rescue/rehab dogs around that I work with until adoption. I enjoy having a full house!
I've got a rescued lab/gsp, he's wonderful with the kids and all the farm animals. A three legged pitty, she's fantastic with everyone too, she works as...
So crazy. I work for a rescue My area. We do a lot of work with shelters in the larger metro area, helping them with behavioral issue dogs, training, enrichment, etc. So we are in a lot of shelters and rescues...some places are insane with what they ask for their dogs. Then wonder why they are...

Yeah they're cute, but the health problems that come with them....yikes.
I'm a +r trainer- I like clicker training as well. A lot of people try to use heavy handed "balanced" training with very special needs dogs, I just don't think it's nessecary. Training with pos. reinforcement may take longer to see full results but I've found that your training sticks better...
Tastyacres- the job your describing is MY job!!! I work for a rescue that specializes in training and rehabilitating behaviorally "special needs" dogs, and placing them for adoption with life long support and continued training. We take dogs from all the local shelters and "pounds", rehab them...
