    I have a Ashford wheel and use Koolaid to dye the wool. Mixing can give you alot of different colors. I buy of my roving from E-bay, also got my wheel there. My next step is to get hand cards to start with a raw fleece.Posey I really like your enterlac shaw!! Nice work!

    I like using cables with socks. It makes for a better fit. They are designed to trap body heat, warmer socks. I really like making aran patterns and gansey sweaters too. The history behind traditional knitting is very interesting.

    JennsPeeps , I recently discovered the Malabrigo merino yarn. It is fantastic yarn. I'm working on some socks with their new super washed sock yarn. I hope you find your other slipper. I bet they're nice and warm.

    Thanks for the kudos on the mittens. It's a good excuse to use wool. Merino is the best.

    Hi all you knitters. I'm working on a knit from the top down Aran snowshoe sweater. I got the pattern from Blackberry Ridge. Also been making thrummed mittens to sell at the craft fairs.
