Please forgive the ignorance. Why is breed so important in the back yard chicken community? Egg color and egg production right. But is it a problem to have a variety of breeds together. sorry had my other chickens on the brain deviled is almost 4 weeks and is a California white. I will get a picture sorry for the title error. kind of young still..
