In an effort to celebrate with everyone we are starting a new contest to guess when we will reach 1,000,000 threads!
If you are the closest to guess the DATE & HOUR (Eastern Standard Time) when we'll hit 1,000 000 threads and win some amazing prizes!!!
FIRST PLACE (For closest guess) will win an automatic coop door, proudly sponsored by Ladies First "All In One" Chicken Door! (retail value $249)
(If a winning member is outside the Continental US, we’re offering a A $100 Gift certificate to the BYC STORE in place of the coop door)
SECOND PLACE will win a $50 Gift Certificate to the BYC STORE
THIRD PLACE will win a 1-year Golden Feather Membership for themselves or a friend.
How To Enter:
To enter the contest, you need (to do) three things:
1) Reply to this thread with a link to your introduction thread here on BYC. For older members, if you haven't started an introduction thread way back then, please start a thread now, in the New Member Introductions section, introduce yourself to the community and tell us a bit about your flock and yourself.
2) Have a post count of at least 10 posts
3) In the same reply, enter the date/time you think we'll hit the magic number in the format 1/12/2015 6:00 pm
WE WILL BE ACCEPTING GUESSES UNTIL 11/22/2015 (NOVEMBER 22, 2015)
Your reply MUST be in this format: Month/Day/Year Hour... kinda like this:
1/12/2015 18:00:00
or
1/12/2015 6:00 pm
Rules:
- To enter the contest, in addition to your guess, you need to post a link to your introduction thread here on BYC. For older members, if you haven't started an introduction thread way back then, please start a thread now in the New Member Introductions section. Introduce yourself to the community and tell us a bit about your flock and yourself. Members also need to have a post count of at least 10 posts, to become eligible.
- The closest guess to the actual date/hour (either before or after) wins.
- You can only enter the contest with ONE GUESS ENTRY!
- If you want to lock in a specific day/hour, post it before anybody else.
- You can change your guess to a different day/hour IF IT IS NOT TAKEN but if you choose another day you allow someone else to take your previous guess.
- You can change your guess as many times as you want until the end of the contest time above!
- To change your guess: Edit your guess post before the end of the contest
- All guesses must be on the HOUR (i.e., NO MINUTES). If you entered minutes into your guess your guess will be rounded up or down to the closest hour.
- We will be accepting guesses until and including 11/22/2015 (22 November 2015)
- Most important: HAVE LOTS OF FUN!
