Things you wish you could say

Nothing

Any fruits available here in the winter have been produced elsewhere. Much of the current fruit available in stores come from Chile and Peru.

There are citrus avazilable in the southernmost states.
I just looked at the map of North and South America to find where Chile and Peru are. That is some distance away, but that would be closer than if I send a box of Mango to @notabitail from Australia to USA 😆

I saw a few times in the shop orange from America, but not recently. We do have grapes from America in the shop.

I guess you could freeze summer fruits for winter, but it will be a long freeze. I know the mangoes I freeze don't look good after I left in the freezer for so long. Milkshake makes everything tasty😆

They make Lilac wine too.
I've made lilac tea before. It was good but I got a screaming migraine the next day. Don't know if it's related but I'm too scared to try again. And the lilacs were from my tree so I know no pesticides or anything were used. I would try lilac wine

Hold on. I thought the box of mangoes was for me!!
Frozen mango is surprisingly good and that is how I cope with acute mango deprivation. Dried are nice but not really a substitute for a fresh mango.
