I'm in!! I just got some AWESOME eggs from TJChickens! They can sit for 2 days, and I'll find somewhere to set them on Saturday! They are all bantams, and if my bantams that are due to hatch tomorrow are true to form, I'll probably set them Saturday night, not Saturday at noon.
 
I'm back from picking up my eggs from the post office. I ordered them from Meyer and they actually do a fantastic packing job. The only problem is I can only identify 2 of the eggs. They're Welsummers (so excited!!!), but the rest... who knows? My brother swears the really big one is a goose egg.

I actually got them on a trade with a guy that's great to do bussnis with I plan to get morw if it all works out. Sadly i went and wrote the breed on them and found another with a crack so ill put some mail polish on it and hope for the best.

Question for those of you with Little Giant incubators or those having knowledge about them:
I have my styro bator set up and holding temps. I've never had an egg turner but am considering one. Does an egg turner motor add heat (I've read that is why the space near the motor is blocked off)? Will I need to spend time adjusting again if I add a turner?

The turner motor adds heat but the thermostat in the incubator adjusts for that.

I do not keep eggs near the motor though. Also, move the eggs around in the incubator every couple of days because there can be other hot spots even with a fan forced incubator.
