How much are peachicks worth?

Theres someone near me that has peafowl eggs for sale. They want $8 an egg.

Now, I don't want to KEEP them, but would like to hatch them if I won't lose money on it.
 
If you can pick them up for $8 an egg and avoid having them shipped you need to be all over them. I would give $8 an egg in a heartbeat if I could pick them up locally.
 
But...will I be able to sell the peachicks readily?

I don't want to raise them....

I emailed about them. We'll see what happens.
 
Well, I pick the eggs up tomorrow. They are blues and pieds.

You could always sell the eggs for a small profit if you don't want to deal with the peachicks. I wish I could come across that near me.
 
I would buy them. I cant even find eggs around here ,let alone the chicks. I did buy an older pair last week BUT the female escaped when my 12 yr old son didnt close the door behind him fast enough. I feel bad I yelled at him. It wasnt his fault. I just was mad that $40 flew away the day I got them home. She hasnt been seen since.
