Here's a few of my nearly grown flock of dusky white bibbed stock. These are Holderread hatched and I ended up with three drakes and six ducks. They are starting to get their adult plumage and are going to be just beautiful. I am looking forward to breeding them next spring. They also have a very easy going temperment and not overly vocal.

Very nice! I was thinking I would like to get a few Hook bills. I haven't seen any around here. Might be fun to add to our flock.

As you know I've been admiring these for some time.
This is a rare breed ones doesn't see very often so I really enjoyed seeing the pics.

Those are very interesting looking birds.

If I had some I would end up naming them stuff like....

Cher
Jimmy Darante
Pinnochio
Barbara Streisand
W.C. Fields
Cyrano de Bergerac
Isabella Rosselini.....

They are beautifull.. I hope to get some one of these days... I'm glad to hear they aren't very talkative.. How loud do you think they are when they do talk..

because their bills have a slight "hook" shape to them.
take a look at the profile pics again and you can see how the bill starts kinda high and bends down just a bit:)

The boys have not molted to their green head plumage yet but should look pretty cool. As far as noisey, they don't quack much at all, generally they kind of mumble to each other. Now and then one of the females will do that QUACK! Quack! Quack! Quaaaack! call like any mallard type breed.

Beautiful. I considered them but went with the Ancona instead.
