@sniper338 I'd recommend making a new thread for this diagnosis in the Illness/Injury forums. Gather your info (Eggcessive is a GREAT source), then sit down for a hard decision. Many people on BYC maintain MG positive flocks successfully. I plan to eventually sell my birds (and am NPIP), if I had an MG/MS+ diagnosis in the flock, I would destroy all my birds, let the ground go fallow, restart in a year. My response may be extreme, however - its something you are going to have to decide

I donno what im gonna do yet... so far its contained to separated bids from my main flock

I wish you every fortune, whatever you decide. MG stays viable in soils for a variable (but potentially lengthy) period, and I free range, so... As i can't speak to your quarantine procedures/distances and when the separation occurred, I can't really make further recommendations re: your flock's future. Which is why I suggested getting info from the experts on this.

If these birds came from an outside breeder (I think there was a comment suggesting that ight be the case???) I would be quite upset at the possibility that exposure occurred at that facility, causing you to unknowingly bring this disease onto your grounds. ...and would contact my State agency to suggest testing/an investigation in response.
