Splash/ Blue Silkie Thread

Hello all you crazy silkie addicts! This is a thread where you can post things about silkies! Well not just any silkies......Only splash or blue ones. i just bidded on some BBS silkie eggs. i would like to see how they turn out.

Here's my favorite splash pullet -- her name is Gizmo.

This is my first year breeding BBS silkies.

And I think i've got some really nice birds to start with. Thanks to all the breeders I ordered hatching eggs from last year and those who traded with me.

Took a Splash to a show in January, out of 3 splashes I got BV. Was surprised there weren't more Splash entered. The splash in with the 2 whites got BV. Hatched her from eggs I got from Little Ameraucana Mom.

I have a really nice Splash girl but well her coopmates arent to nice to her

. And well she has been hen pecked

. Anyone have any ideas how to get her tophat to grow back.. She has NOTHING poor girl!!

I have a new little one, Just got it Sunday afternoon....my first silkie

My new Frizzle is named Rizz, which made me think of the movie Grease, so I named the silkie Frenchie..though thinking of finding of a different name for it.
