Not that it matters but, not one site I googled for this breed indicated how much the large fowl birds should weigh.

Love these little ones . Have a batch in the incubator due in 19 days... I think I might be addicted to Barnies!!!!!
 
Hi,

I took delivery of my first chickens two weeks ago: two Speckled Sussex and this gorgeous Barnevelder whom I've called Hamble. She hasn't started laying yet. She is bottom of the pecking order - I call Florence and Matilda, the two Speckled Sussex, the velociraptor twins because they were quite hard on poor Hamble initially. All has settled now.
