pigeons and chicken?

i just got one of those big fan tail pigeons can i put it in my chicken coop

yes, you can. I have a few american fantail pair and an indian fantail pair both in an aviary with chickens. i've also kept them with other birds. they don't fight really, they'll be fine.
 
I was also wondering if I could do that! That's awesome! Won't they catch diseases from the chickens if they drink the same water and are exposed to the chicken poo? I actually heard that the chickens get sick all the time with pigeons housed with them.
