Does my chick have a claw foot?

Yeah I probably had all those problems with my first hatch! However today is lock down on my 2nd batch and my temp is way down and my humidity is way high. I am hoping that I don't screw up my 18 good looking eggs. I mean I have movement in them all and good growth. We will see what happens but I took my turner out and put the eggs in egg cartons and they are so much lower that the temp is much lower now. I hate playing with the temp at day 18. I did try medical tape but maybe I was using the wrong stuff because my br was able to pull it right off. She was pretty good at pulling the band aids off too unfortunately! However they would stay on for most of the day. I hated fighting her on it though. It was very stressful for her and me!!! I think by now it is too late to try anything more, right?

She is fine. She is actually the leader of my chickens if you can believe it!! Her toes are definitely still curled. She has some other problems too--she does not see very well so has a hard time catching insects or getting to the treats first. I am not sure if it is because she has eye trouble or just is special needs all around. She is my most friendly bird and probably my favorite!!! So all is good! I hate to see her struggle up the ramp--slipping a bit on the way up but I am so glad she is a she and that she is so friendly.

I am sorry to ask, as i have only just found this thread, but what happened to her?

seconding this.

one of mine from the last flock had incubated; lorna [a cockrel :p ] had a deformity in his toe, photo of him here- http://sadpanda.us/images/1135483-VEURMTJ.jpg
was going to splint it but his vet [a chicken expert] said not to bother unless its causing discomfort, he runs as fast as the others and there is only a minute weakness in his balance.
have never understood the mentality of chickens being PTS who have deformities in which they can have a high quality of life with then again am someone who woud rather have a chickens over humans any day. :p
