I bought a fbcm chick as a straight run and don't know for sure what I've got. It is about 4 months old, is not aggressive, likes to nuzzle her beak into her chest and sit in the coop almost like she wants to nest. I have NEVER heard her crow, we have had some roosters here but they meat birds that were only here for two months (they fought amongst each other but this one was never fighting or trying to challenge the others.). There are no curly long feathers on the tail. I tried to vent sex her and didn't see any bump, but then again I am not a professional- I've just seen it done on youtube. I really don't know what I have. At times, I think I've got a rooster because of the red face, but her mannerisms make me think otherwise.
