My friend has currentley had some chicks hatching under 2 broody hens, the light sussex has 3 strong chicks is up and about. The rhold island red has one chick that can hardly walk, she said it is like there is no muscles (sorry dont know how to spell it) in the chicks feet, she has been giving it water often and putting it in the food bowl and its mam shows it how to eat, does anyone know what this is? and will the chick get better?

You could try to get a "chick sling". Get fabric, cut holes for the legs, and nail the fabric to something to hold the chick up. You could try dripping it some Nutri-drench water to perk it up a little. If you need to feed it and it's not taking food, boil eggs, crush up the yolk, add water to make a paste/babyfood texture, and feed it to it through a syringe WITHOUT the needle.
 
Even doing that your little peep might not make it. Hope she does though.
