I haven't weighed mine they are about 6 months old and he is hudge to me so are my hens and they aren't laying yet. How old were the ones you saw?

I saw them the other day too for the first time. Not as big as I expected from they way everyone talked. My guess is they don't have huge birds to compare them too. They were big but not a lot bigger than my Rhodebar probably no bigger than my Cuckoo Marans Cock. Now he may have been young still and had some growing to do. I also am not seeing my pullet get HUGE compared to other birds. I asked about their eating.... he said he feeds his Orps 2x's what he feed the Beilefelders. I felt better about that. I still want to have a flock of them. I hope they lay as well as the Rhodebars.... I get an egg almost everyday from those girls. He said he had had better layers then the Bielefelders but they were still good layers.

They are 9 months old. I got 5 free male chicks and end up purchased 2 female.
