He was taken by a predator during the night-most likely a fox or coyote. No sign of a struggle, no pile of feathers or body parts. He was simply whisked away during the night. I won't go into details. No need to.

He will be missed.

ALL YOUR LADIES AND ALL YOUR ADMIRERS WILL TRUELY MISS YOU

Even though he was not my rooster, I, too, like most every other BYC member, loved Stan the Man. It saddens me to have to say goodbye. I am assuming everyone else feels the same way. I made this mere little memorial to him; as a memorial to a brave and wonderful rooster. I feel that I am not alone in saying this. I feel that I am not alone in tearfully saying... goodbye, dear Stan the Man. May you rest in peace.

I am sure, wherever you are, you are in a better place, now.
