Another update (I hate the idea of you checking, and not seeing anything).
The 18 chicks are now sleeping in the duck pen, and the ducks are in the chick pen. It was a slow change, but tonight I think it is official. That is okay! They all seem happy enough, and that is what is important!
The summer home has been dismantled, and will be rebuilt soon. Complete with a pool. Either a large round one, or a Step 2 rectangular one. I am hoping my sister sends me the Step 2 next week.
I am hoping to get Lilly to swim this year.

No fertile eggs yet. I am hoping for that too!

Hello Ladies, I want to say Thank You Very Much for all your help, assistance, concern and suggesions. I am sorry to say that I go the duckling out of the shell but she passed w/in 10mins while i was attending to another duckling. I though she was resting and doing well. then i saw the post about setting her upright. it was too late, i am sorry to say i did not see that post until afer she passed.
I had named her Early, Sarkchick helped me name her, for obvious reasons. She fought hard and so did I.

CyndiD, thank you for the thank you. You did all the work, lost sleep and most of the worry. I did help in the worry department.
Very sorry for Early. She took her name to seriously. So glad #2 is doing good. How many more do you have?

I have 3 ducklings in the bator and will go to lockdown in a few days.

I have 3 more ducklings to go into lockdown in 2 days. Do you give niacin immediately from day of hatch? I have been giving niacin after a few days of life? I do have nutri drench in her water now. I have looked for Vit B complex, can you tell me where to get it? is it the same as what we would take?

OH YEAH?? Thanks, i really didnt wonder, but it is very cool to know. can you tell me how you can tell and can you tell me what sex the other one is? in the earlier post i had 2 pics of him/her??? huh, huh, can you tell me??
