I have 3 more ducklings to go into lockdown in 2 days. Do you give niacin immediately from day of hatch? I have been giving niacin after a few days of life? I do have nutri drench in her water now. I have looked for Vit B complex, can you tell me where to get it? is it the same as what we would take?

Yes Vitamin b complex is same as what we take. Dollar store, Walmart they all carry it. You want to start it as soon as they go into the broody room. Naicin has been shown huge improvements as they get older.

Some you help make it some don't. It depends on blood lose and time. How strong they our. How early or late you help them. We also had an event.

Her coloring looks like she has another color on her maybe the light. 

yes, i thought so also at first when she was still wet. she looked like she may of had Buff O in her. but as she is drying she is looking more like a pure Pekin... YA, i hope so, i already have 5 pekin/buff mix.

I can usually tell by obsetving the pics and looking for certain features.

Must be a learned thing. I can stare at some lings for hours, trying to see a difference. No go. They do not seem to like chicks with wing feathers. Thanks for all the help and advice you give. You and others on BYC really help during stressful times

Doing quite well. We have added several adopted rescues, now, so we have Runners, Buffs, a Khaki-Rouen mix, a white mallard, and a BEI.

Springtime, and we have little patience for being indoors more than absolutely necessary!

And, that is one of the most beautiful sounds on Earth, my flock's chatter....
