I see that people give it to chickens, but have not seen anything about ducks. Also my ducks are for the purpose of eating the eggs! I imagine that you don't want to eat the eggs for a amount of time after they are don't with the medicine, but can I still eat the eggs after 2 weeks of the last dose of medicine or will it ruin my egg laying ducks? I need to find something. Im tired of going to my vets and getting antibiotics for my ducks (they are super expensive). Right now I have 6 ducks in a different pen then the free rangers because they are all limping. All it takes is a single splinter and they are limping. Please help.

Yes you can give it to ducks. That is what I use. It worked great. It is cheap from RK. Vet is not needed. My duck was not laying at the time I gave it to her so I did not have an issue with that. I have heard you can incubate eggs when the are on antibiotics though.

This post has me wondering about duck shoes. I've seen them advertised on thise site but has anyone used them? Do they work? Do the ducks like them?

Have you been treating the problem? their feet? and yes you can eat their eggs again after 2 weeks. But I'd look into whats causing the problem in the first place, what are they walking on? are you able to remove the splinters? and sometimes soaking in warm epsom salt water and then applying some kind of antibiotic salve when they go in to bed helps the healing.

Hi, what was wrong with your ducks? I'm having a bacterial infection issue with mine. She has limp legs and loose stool and a wheezing chirp. I was going to get Duramycin-10 for her because it is the only antibiotic the feed stores around me sell. Did it work for you? Thanks!
