Yes you can.
i have to use it after a heavy rain in my ground brooder cause it is higher than the regular ground and ants head straight fore the pen when we get hard rains here.
 
I read somewhere to use 5%, not 10%, but I don't know why that is, and the site that says that has many mediction errors listed, so do your own research on the 5% vs 10%. Anyway, FWIW, TSC has a triple pack of the 5% on sale for $13, just got some yesterday!

I anxiously wait for those 10% off coupons. I try and buy all my feeders, meds, hardware and wire for the year at one time when they send the 10% off coupons. They do it at least twice a year and sometimes more. If you get on the mailing list you will know when they are coming. They are only good for about ten days.
